Irlams o’ th’ Honey
Irlams o' th' Height is a suburb of Salford, found on the top of Irwell Valley. Its name is derived from the Irlam family who ran the Pack Horse Inn in the 17th & 18th century. In the 19th century, the village became highly prosperous as a result of the Industrial Revolution. This birthed a wide community of handloom weavers.
